Why do I keep hearing static bursts or audio distortion in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords?

You may hear occasional static in sound effects or sound distortion in the game if the volume is set too high. If this occurs, we recommend that you lower the volume control in the game. If that does not correct the issue, you will need to lower the volume control in Windows. Some cards work best with the Windows Wave volume set to 50%.
