Star Wars
Battlefront
ATI Radeon 7200 and 7500
When playing Star Wars Battlefront on a card with one of these chipsets, you may experience the following issues:
The skymap may not be visible when the in-game resolution is set to 800 x 600 if you are using earlier versions of the Catalyst drivers. This does not occur when using the Catalyst 4.7 or 4.8 drivers.
The frame rate in the game may be poor when the in-game resolution is set to 1152 x 864 or higher. Selecting a lower resolution corrects this issue.
You may be unable to load into a level if FSAA is set to 2X or 4X in the ATI Display Properties. Lowering or disabling this option corrects this issue.
You may see the following graphical issues:
Light flare sprites may appear to flicker or sort in front of pillars and walls.
The sun flare effects will not be displayed.
The following issues occur in Windows 98 and ME with the Catalyst 4.7 drivers:
Polygons may stretch into the sky when the in-game resolution is set to 800x600. We recommend that you check for updated drivers, which may correct this issue.
You may see graphics corruption if FSAA is enabled in the ATI Display Properties. Disabling this option corrects this issue.
You may see a ghost image on the screen after playing through multiple maps in the game.
The Droideka Shield may appear to be stretched out, causing lines to extend from the shield to the players reticle.
NOTE: ATI does not officially support the Radeon 7200 in Windows 98 or Windows ME with the Catalyst 4.7 driver.
