Star Wars
Battlefront
Intel i915
When playing Star Wars Battlefront on system with this chipset in Windows 2000 or Windows XP with driver version win2k_xp145.exe (6.14.0010.3865), you may experience the following issues:
You may experience a long pause when loading the game or loading levels. This may cause the screen to be blank for close to 60 seconds.
Selecting Auto-Detect in Video Options will set the In-Game Resolution to 1280 x 1024. If you experience any performance issues, we recommend that you lower the resolution to 800 x 600.
Terrain textures may appear smeared or stretched when Terrain Quality is set to Medium. Selecting High or Low Terrain Quality corrects this issue.
You may experience low framerate when you set Shadows to High. Setting Shadows to Low or Off corrects this issue.
Light flare sprites may appear to flicker or sort in front of pillars and walls.
Sky texture maps may display as solid black.
You may experience a lockup when you attempt to start the game in Windows 98 or Windows ME. This occurs because there are no DirectX 9 compatible drivers available for this chipset in these operating systems.
