Star Wars Battlefront

Tsunami DT-588 or DT-688

When playing Star Wars Battlefront on a Tsunami DT-588 or DT-688, you may experience the following issues:

  • Windows 2000: When using the Windows driver cmaudio.sys (5.12.0001.0643):

    • You may not hear sound through the rear speakers when Mixer Config is set to Software.

    • Sound effects may also become choppy during large battles. These issues do not occur when using the manufacturer driver (5.12.0001.0630).

  • Windows 2000: When using the manufacturer driver (5.12.0001.0630):

    • You may not hear battle sound effects when Mixer Config is set to Software. When this occurs, only environmental sound effects, such as wind and thunder, are heard.

    • The settings in the Tsunami Control Panel override the Output Mode in the Options screen when Mixer Config is set to Hardware. If the Control Panel is set to 5.1 surround, all Hardware Modes in-game will be heard as 5.1 surround.

  • Windows ME: When using the manufacturer driver (5.12.0001.0630) or the Windows Update driver (5.12.0001.0643):

    • When playing in areas with intense sound, some sound effects may stutter or drop out when Mixer Config is set to Hardware. This does not occur when Mixer Config is set to Software.

    • You may not hear sound through the rear speakers when Mixer Config is set to Software. This does not occur when Mixer Config is set to Hardware.
