After adding a new sound card to my system, the mixer config option in the Audio Options section is disabled. What can I do?

The Mixer Config option in the Audio Options screen may remain Disabled if a sound card is installed in your computer after playing the game without a sound card.

To correct this, select Reset to Default in the Audio Options screen to allow the game to recognize your audio device.
