You will need to obtain an Internet connection (through a computer meeting the minimum system requirements) in order to play the game associated with this software online. Supported Operating Systems:
To be able to play Star Wars Battlefront, you must have Windows 98SE, Millennium Edition (ME), 2000, or XP installed and configured correctly and your computer hardware must be DirectX 9.0c compatible. To assure that your system is configured correctly, you may need to install the current Windows updates, as well as the latest drivers for your particular motherboard.
NOTE: Windows 95 has officially entered its non-supported phase as of December 2001. As a result of this, Star Wars Battlefront is not supported in this operating system. The Windows 98 non-supported phase was originally scheduled for June 2003. Although this phase has been extended to meet the current Microsoft support cycle, some hardware manufacturers no longer develop drivers for this operating system.
IMPORTANT: If you are running Windows 2000 or XP, you must have local Administrator or Power User rights to properly install the game. Only local Administrator rights will allow you to update DirectX in these operating systems.
